The user can enter the password he uses with his account to uncover a keychain item’s secrets. When you first set up a user account, the login password used for that account is assigned to the login keychain, whereas new passwords are stored by default. To remove all remembered passwords, click Remove All. Just select the site you want to delete and click the Remove button. Passwords will be listed to the right of each site. All the websites with saved passwords in Safari will appear in a list.Įnable the Show Passwords option and enter your login password when prompted. If you would like to recover website passwords and are running Safari under Mountain Lion, launch Safari, open Safari’s preferences, and click the Passwords tab. As I understand it, if I change the password in the Accounts pref pane, my keychain passwords should update automatically. I suspect that this happened when I changed my account password.
However, I know that all of my stuff is still working (websites don't prompt me to log in, I join wifi networks, Xcode still see my developer certs), etc. When I open my keychain access, it is empty.
